Safari Sudan
Day 1:
Fly from Aswan to Dongola. Immigration clearance at Dongola airport. Fly to Merowe. Travel in ex-military Volvo jeeps, to sightsee Jebel Barkal, El Kurru and Petrified Forest. Overnight at Merowe.

Day 2:
Travel by land to Old Dongola. Sight see Old Dongola. Enjoy live Nubian music during dinner at Safari Sudan fully equipped tented camp. Overnight at Safari Sudan fully equipped Old Dongola Camp.

Day 3:
Travel in jeeps accompanied by 6x6 support truck, guide, cook and mechanic northward alongside the Nile river. Visit the bustling Dongola town souk and enjoy fresh Nile Perch fish lunch. Continue westwards for one hour to the stunning and famous therapeutic desert oasis of Gaab. Overnight at oasis.

Day 4:
Drive back to Dongola to cross to the East bank of the Nile River by pontoon. Continue northward to to Deffufa. Sightsee visit the ruins one of the oldest capitals of sub-Saharan Africa, whose origins date back to the middle of the third millennium BC. From the top of the Deffufa, the main religious building marking the centre of the Kerma settlement, view the restored lay-out of the town. Overnight in the desert.

Day 5:
Travel northward through the scenic Third Cataract to cross by boat to Soleb on West Bank of Nile. Enjoy a traditional Nubian dinner. Overnight at Safari Sudan compound.
Day 6:
After a late breakfast sightsee Soleb Temple and Jebel Dosha. Overnight at Safari Sudan compound.

Day 7:
Return by boat to the East Bank of the Nile. Continue northwards along the Nile by jeep. Overnight near the Nile.
Day 8:
Drive to Wadi Halfa and depart to Aswan by Safari Sudan Antonov-26 or barge.
