Day 1:

Depart Khartoum on Safari Sudan's Antonov 2 to Old Dongola. Arrive at Safari Sudan fully equipped walk in tented camp alongside the Nile. After lunch sightsee Old Dongola. Dinner and evening free.

AN 2 and support vehicle

Day 2:

Fly to Merowe and transfer in land transport to Jebel Barkal. Sightsee Jebel Barkal and museum. Picnic lunch. Journey by road to visit the nearby royal cemetery of El Kurru. Then sightsee the petrified forest in the desert. If time permits also visit the abandoned Nile Steamers alongside the Nile.

Tented Camp

Return to airport and fly back to Old Dongola camp in time for dinner.

Petrified Forest

Day 3:

Tour in volvo jeeps nearby Nile river settlements and desert. Return to camp for lunch. Fly back to Khartoum.
